Its ok, calm down. Remember that outer beauty isn't everything. Focus on improving yourself. I have shaved my heaad too. Im 21, female and in college. I agree that it sucks big time, but you will get through this.

How do manage with all the stares? I mean I get a lot of stares and many questions. I simply lie.

I've shaved my head too. I purposely shaved during winter, so I could wear beanie all the time. I lived in a dorm during that time (freshman year in college), and my roommate was the only one that knew the reason behind my bald head. Thankfully she didn't tell anyone else. When people asked, I said I wanted to try different style. I hated every single second of having no hair. My self-esteem grew as my hair grew back. I rewarded myself by dying part of my hair purple and getting haircuts by a stylist.
Moral of the story is try not to worry about what those people think, just think about how rewarding it will be when you have a full head of hair and stay pull-free!!

I shaved my head 4 years ago and as soon as my hair was long enough. I started pulling again. I’ve thought of shaving my head again..

I've had trich since I was 12. I'm not 30. I used to just pull out of the center of my head so I would wear ponytails constantly to cover that part of scalp. Then the pulling spread to other parts of my head and i started to wear wigs. It got very tiring and expensive so finally, I chopped all my hair off. While my hair was too short to pull, I felt amazing. Then as soon as it got long enough for me to grab, the pulling started again. I've shaved my head twice more since then, most recently in July. I'm still pulling but now that's its getting colder, I'm able to cover my head for most of the day, with a beanie, which helps me not touch my hair during the day. It's mostly at night that I find myself pulling now. I'm really glad that I found this online forum.

I pull at night too when at the computer or in the bathroom. Going to try to spend less time in thise areas and keep hands busy with fidget toys when idle.

@BTrichTooLong I wear wigs, too. I recently brought one. I even noticed that when I wear wigs I don't even think of pulling. Even I am glad to let out my feelings, here.

I don't pull from my scalp but I recently got a really short haircut and I get called sir like half of the time. People are just dumb and don't pay attention. If it helps you not pull then freaking rock it.
