This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.
Why do people say that they are with only to find out that they are only slamming you with insults behind your back. Instead of being honest thatthey are not, to keep from embarrising both of you?
Well some do it to be polite and not to seem uncaring but when push comes to shove, they sadly back out. It happens.
The best way to avoid is to be your own person, to stand on your own two feet and it will never matter who insults you or who praises you.
I've been at this for decades, I had quite a share of crap, and it was not until I stood on my own that things changed for me.
And a reminder, no one can embarrass you without your explicit permission.
