This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.
Surprising to me, I just turned 32 on May 12th and I can honestly say that I'm humbled, happy and at peace. Growing up after everything I've been through, I didn't think I'd make it out of my 20's alive. Transitioning has taught me so much about myself, life and the world in general. I've learned that family is not just blood related. Family the people whom loves you unconditionally and always has your best interest at heart. Life is about a series of transitions and how you handle them and the people we meet along the way. People will come into our lives for a reason or a season. Seasonal people with come with some bumps and bruises but in the long run you learn what you will and will not tolerate.
I've learned that spirituality is not what's preached in church but what keeps you grounded and centered. I've always been the black sheep in my family of abusive, judgmental, bible-thumpers which scared me off from churches and in turn showed me that family too can be seasonal people.
EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is created to transition. Most people don't realize that or are too jaded acknowledge it and move on to the next life lesson. I am proud and honored to walk this journey as a transgendered woman. We have given the opportunity to see life from the first-hand perspective of both genders. Not many people can say that. So to those in here whom are just starting to transition or trying to find the courage to live your "T" (Truth), just know that DIAMONDS ONCE STARTED OUT AS LUMPS OF COAL.
I could write a book on ALL the lessons I've learned SO FAR in my 10+ years on this journey but the reason for this post is to learn what others have learned so far.
Life is short so screw the BS. Just LIVE, LAUGH AND LEARN. XOXOXOXOXO

it was quite scarey my mum had this jehovahs witness idea in her head I didn't and the so called law of god ( where where ?)
she was ok ttill she got to her god and church when that started.
so yea I don't understand the seasonal effects either wasn't that my sister too ? buut now anyway im just being me and am a quitte happy girl, without religion.... its just harassment as far as I know anyway. it was a problem of my best interests when im me and geeny weeny not others deciding who or what and whats best for whoever suited their demented wishes. the best one was when we looked inside lol. so yeaa Rhonda remains Rhonda and I will not tolerate this either or them ...............
at least now we know what it was. im so glad you do that too. it was so evil, . like I said in the first place "oh no were notttt"
