Well so first your dad has basic English wrong and that needs to be corrected. Gender and Sex are 2 entirely different things. Sex is a physical manifestation of chromosomes designated by the presentation of specific primary and secondary sex characteristics. Gender is an internal construct of how we perceive our self and our own sexuality and our sense of self. Preference is who you take to bed, and then there is the societal aspect which is men should be X or Y and women should be T or Z. Sp you can use that against him. Your mom if she is okay with you being lesbian why would she not with you being trans? I don't know your age so I cannot say that I know the full ins and outs of your situation. If you live at home and are under 18, you will need them to go anywhere in transition. If you are living at home and over 18, you can legally pursue therapy and any other medical treatment on your own without them knowing if you request that it not be known. Obviously if you are not living at home, then let them think and behave as they will and do what you feel is best for you. They will see the error in their ignorance one day. Your mom does seem the most open to it so she may be your best bet. You listed that she will harm you though if you aren't telling her things. Firstly if she is harming you and you have the right to report it and should. You have the right to be safe and unharmed, don't ever forget that. Secondly if she wants the truth, tell her the truth, you are scared to tell her because she isn't willing to accept it. if she says she is and you to tell her, then tell her and remind her she said she is willing to accept it so now she has to. If she has any honor she will. One thing to always remember is this is likely to be a shock to them. That means there is a bit of time they will need to process it, so whatever the initial outcome is, remember it is not the final outcome. *huggles*
