Do you think I would be better off in jus a Forum for Transgenders, like a social thing?

I mean I will at times need support and Im more than happy to always offer support but...

...mostly I just want to post everyday stuff and have a bit of fun, kinda yeh I do want support but in between I jus wanna have fun, or sound off or jus chat with the girls, jus like stuff thats not an 'issue'.

Guess I just want to be around Transgender ppl at this moment but not always talking about heavy stuff, and that is 'not always' and not 'never', and if Ive got myself into the wrong group Im jus gonna be a pain for people who are here to get thru issues cos lets face it our issues are heavy and last thing u need is some1 making light of things when all youre feeling is pain, right?

So maybe find somewhere else for my chitzy chat and save this place for proper issues? I mean its not like its gotta be one or the other I just need to learn whats appropriate where n stuff so I can contribute appropriately?

You gotta tell me truthfully ladies, the truth is all we ever need to get thru this xxxxx

it's really a tough one. I mean for the most part this is for support stuff and it's a public forum so sharing your life can be uncomfortable because the world gets to see it. There is also the aspect of the under 18 crowd in the group. Certain topics can get you into serious trouble if a parent were to get their nose wrinkled about it. Most of those are what some would call Risqu topics though and are not generally the kinda topics people talk all that often about. This is a place to talk about what you feel and if its just every day stuff feel free to put it here, in a journal, messages to people you create bonds with, so on. That said there is also benefit to dealing with people in real life or in real time as well. There is no such thing on here anymore. Real time chatting affords you the ability to get some critical analysis of how you speak. Women tend to speak very differently from men, so sometimes the real time can help. Me personally, I use this of course to get assistance with things or to help those I can, but I also go to a local support/social group for LGBTQ people which gets me out of the house and I can get opinions on clothing, makeup and voice and such, which has its benefits, and I use online stuff as well, Some friends I have on instant messengers, MMO games, IMVU so on. These allow me to do the normal chit chat, meet people and figure out the level to which I blend in.

I guess really everyone has their comfort levels, so everyone will take things differently. On here though, you can pretty well post what you will I think, others comfort level would determine responses. Me personally, here for support, random stuff in the journal, rarely message anyone unless I am replying.

xSAMi, you can go ahead and lay whatever is on your mind on this sight, as long as it pg 13 you should be ok and that way I don't feel like I am blowing this place up with questions and advice. It is a good place to vent and get good advice. I haven't told a lot of people I am transgender although my daughter my have to a few people or maybe more, she keeps telling me of someone else she told at school. Now that her school counselor knows how many other staff know there? Well we love to hear from you and if you ever need advice we are here for you and we always appreciate any advice you are willing to give:-)
