I am planning on going out tomorrow and buying my very first panties. My plan is to wear only panties moving forward. I’ve seen and read lots of first person experiences about how cross dressing can be incredibly therapeutic for transgender women. I’m really looking forward to doing this but st the same time I’m nervous about the shopping. I don’t want to do it online. I need to face my fears and I also want to be able to touch and feel them. I’m an overweight person so I’m sure my options will be a little bit limited. Do you have any suggestions about the best stores for me to try? Love and faith.

The best laid plans sometimes go awry. Life definitely got in the way today. I am determined to do this though. Tomorrow we are going to spend the day at the beach. Monday I’m going back to my therapist. This will be my first session with her after coming out two weeks ago. I really wanted to show some progress by wearing panties to the session. I’ll still hold my head up as I fully start this journey. Love and faith.

so what I am going to recommend at the start is something full front and backed. This would be things like Bikini brief style, boyshorts, so on... Avoid thongs. I am saying this because structurally you will need support in certain areas that thongs have a rough time accommodating. Something full front and backed will offer that and keep everything "in place" so to speak. I personally find fabric wise, I like microfiber best. Its comfy and moves well and most importantly it breaths which is a plus.

I hope you found lingere that feels right and gives you great feelings about th many ways you will experience posiitives of more freedom to express your true identity over time.

I am so glad that you have been able to start the coming out process and have found a therapist to help you process your experiences and support the transition paths you choose.

I am a trans man, and so have different perspective , but I certainly remember and share the excitement of the first experiences of having intimate clothing that fit my identity.

Larger women have a lot more intimate clothing choices than when i was growing up and only very plain panties in cotton or stretch fabrics in white or beige were offered. I think the choices now are much better and more appealing to color and texture and style tastes. Glad WyndWitch has specific information for you on styles most likely to meet current needs well.

I hope you have a great shopping trip, and find some underwear that is "you."

I usually go with my wife whenever i go shopping and it is easier that way. I do order online alot though lol
