i've been looking for a place to speak my thoughts for some time now, and as the title suggests, I'm scared of what the future holds. I've known that I should have been born a girl for about 12 years now, or since kindergarten. To keep the story fast; It didn't take me long to realize that many people saw me as a freak, so I hid in plain sight, pretending to be the boy the world wanted me to be. In a few weeks, I'll finally be starting hormones, I'm out at home and my family is very accepting of me, but I'm scared of what comes next; change. I never stopped hiding, and I now have no idea what I'm doing, I want to come out at school and work, but I'm scared that due to my (I think at least) deep voice no one could see me as the woman I am.. but at the same time, I'm incredebly exited, once the transition is done suddenly I'm free to live as who I am, but while I know who I am, I still don't know how to act like it, ladylike I mean. While my sisters were taught how to sit and speak and all that, I never was, so I'm left with only knowledge of how to pretend to be a boy, not that helpful in the day to day life of a girl..
Honestly, I think I'm just looking for someone MTF post-transition to let me in on what's going to happen, and how she was able to overcome the obstacles I mentioned already, so if someone's out there who's willing to help, I really hope you will...
