I am 100% percent postive that I want to transition to male. I'm really scared to do so. I have a huge family to come out to and its scary. I don't know what to do. I have anxiety about dressing and being female and I hate it. But I also have anxiety about telling my family and everyone else. I really want to come out so I can be more comfortable, but I don't know where to start or how or what to say and how to explain what transgender is. Any advice?
Just say that you are a boy and always have been, and please can they understand that.
And for the whole dressing like a girl, what I do is I pretend that I'm an undercover agent and my mission is to keep my real identity hidden from anyone but my allies. You can even come with some ninja secret codename or something. Don't be ashamed of who you are.

I think you should view your transition as a destination. All the pain and negative emotion you experience are just part of the process. The fact you can identify a need to change is like receiving a blank map with a red X on it. How you get there is up to you, but i recommend coming out to the person in your life you most feel comfortable with sharing your decision. In regards to Resources there is a Transgender road map you can search for online, it helped me realize the struggle I had was similar to others and offered insight on how to Reveal the real me to others.
