This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.
My spouse is a genetic female who identifies as a male. It's not the time or place for her to "come out" but her physical appearance is that of a man.
I knew all of this before committing to a life together and I'm aware of most of the challenges we both face.
One of the biggest issues?? Public restrooms. We all have to pee. (s)he is so embarrassed/frustrated/angry whenever there's an issue. I don't know how to help. I know the restroom dilemma is just the tip of the iceberg and that it represents SO much more.
Just needs some... hugs? support? ideas?

If his physical appearance is that of a male, he can always use the stalls, that is what I do. Men do not do penis checks in the bathrooms, and lots of men use the stall to pee even sitting down, in all my 30 plus years using the stall in the men's room I have yet to have anyone harrass me about it.
The other thing he may want to work on is adaptability, instead of getting all frustrated and angry, he could be working on ways to make his life easier.
