Hey there everyone I'm a MtF transgender  I am new to this but have been transitioning for the past 5 years. Would like help to come out to my family and hopefully they will accept me for who I am. Also looking for anyone to friend me

chances are your family will reject the idea. so how you do it doesnt matter. its how you handle it afterwards. my closest brother rejected me, but after showing him that im actually better the way i am now he excepted it some. he still wants to use my old name, but hes coming around.

I know that you posted this a while back but I am new to the group and wondering if you have made the attempt to come out to your family? How did that end up for you? I am just coming to terms with my transgender life. So I'm nowhere near that far into any kind of transition. I would be more than happy to share with you if you need that. Having other women to talk to that can understand my point of view is very important to me. Love and faith.
