Transgender Support Group
This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.
It's very right to not tell people you are [insert identity] if you think people will harass you for it. Open or even subtle trans phobia may make you scared to go outside or very anxious when being outside (from personal experience). Make sure you are safe. Friends who affirm it are very good. You don't have to talk about it with them but if they respect that you want to try out pronouns/names etc and accommodate to that then it feels wonderful.
It's normal to be confused or not know where to start. Modern European and American societies do not readily provide gender non-conforming resources yet. They'll provide sex-ed but only in the form of hetero-normative styles usually. Good luck in finding a GIC that is hopefully close to you (mine's an hour 1/2 long expensive train and bus journey away *sigh* so I'm finding groups to go to near me) and hope you feel okay.
