Transgender Support Group
This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.
If there is one thing I learned during my transition was that fostering and feeding depressive thoughts will keep you depressed. I know you cannot be full how you would like to be but that does not be that you have to hide out until you can.
I am as strange as they come, yet I make friends not easily mind you but I do get out of my shell and introduce myself and yes I do look very male and what nots but my body is not the least bit male underneath my clothes, it used to bother me but not anymore.
If someone does not want to be friends with me for whatever reasons, that's on them not me. So my advice is to go out there and introduce yourself, and if you get lucky to make a friend who is trustworthy, then share your secret with him/her and carry on.
I am a shy as anyone but I have decided that such a thing has to run my life. What you need is what some would call, to get out of your own head. Become someone interesting, read, learn new things, you know what I am saying? Get to know who you are so, love who you are, right now as it is, not later. So that if you get rejected, you will not take it so personally, you know?
Hope this helps,
Wolf (FTM)
