Second part, I have been at this for 8 years.... YEARS and my mom and step father still do not often use my new name. It takes a LONG time to break habit. they are used to one name, its going to take a long time to change that regardless. You need to try remember that fact. It's not a light switch and you cant expect it to be. You also need to learn to be comfortable with you. Dysphoria as a whole is the inability for you to reconcile your body with your head. Change your head, you can be comfortable with the boy you are, without the body to go with it. I've been doing it for quite some time. Sure I still have dysphoria, but it isn't to where I cant function. The fact you hate your life and yourself more importantly shows you are not comfortable with yourself yet. You need to be so others will be too.
thirdly, I don't know how old you are, I can only assume you are under the age of 18, the fact is that you need to be focusing on the long term and not short. Highschool, your parents house, none of this means crap and in a matter of a few years when you hit 18 life DRASTICALLY changes. If you focus your efforts now on good grades and education leading to a good job, working and making it so you can make a living and get the bloody heck away from your parents, then your life will be much easier. If you can get comfortable with yourself, let things go a bit more and see they take time, and set yourself up to be able to transition (good job and money) you will be set for life. Right now is the time to do it.
Last bit..... Happy birthday. Belated as it is, but I do wish you a happy birthday. I encourage you to keep your thoughts away from self harm and all, I grew up with the same issues you had in a time when you couldn't come out. the only thing they did was conversion therapy. so I went through school with it as you are, it wasn't easy and I did try to kill myself. Its not a solution and life got a crap ton better once I was out of school. There is way more to life than now. Trust that and trust that it will get better in time. You just need to be willing to keep moving forward with it. Be you the best you can within the confines of what you have. No one can change whats in your head, live in there. don't worry bout what your parents are calling you. program yourself to hear the right name, be you. Be comfortable being you, and in a few years you can get yourself on track. You can do this I know you can.
