Transgender Support Group
This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.

Flat out, it is an uphill fight through the entire process, you will have constant medical visits and bills associated with the hormones and the level checks, you will have to deal with any surgical stuff you need (hysterectomy, mastectomy, so on), therapists and their costs, dealing with school and the kids at school, society as a whole depending on where you live, your family, there is absolutely no part of this that is going to be easy. Is it doable? Yes, there are a ton that do it every single day, you just have to get your head out of you and focus on the big picture. How are you going to pay for all of this? If you aren't focusing on education and a really good paying job for 10 years from now, well you may be setting yourself up for failure regardless of what happens today. You also need to focus on what is REAL, not what is fake. You can go and bind, change what you wear, do whatever you want, you're still going to be you and until you can learn that the outside don't mean carp, but the inside does, you will still go look in the mirror every day and hate you because you never learned to love who you are for who you are. I went the reverse route from you, I am 40 years old and started at 32. In my head I am a repressed 20 something girl who yearns to be some pretty little college girl, but the reality is, I am a fat old person who has 32 years of testosterone to overwrite. I will never be what I see myself as, but that is okay. The reason why is that I am not defined by a pair of heels, a dress, perfect skin and hair. I am defined by who I am in side, I know I am a woman, I know who I am, and as such not one person ever misgenders me even if I don't pitch my voice up. You can go ahead and strip all the makeup shave your head completely bald, wear boxers, jeans and a tshirt all you want and bind yourself flat as you can, you will still get misgendered until you have found a way to love who you are and be a man regardless of the dress and heels or the tennis shoes, pants and tie. I am going to send you a message as well because I don't like personal details in public forums so please read it.
Take the chance and tell your parents, but do it in a non confrontational way. Maybe this will help them better understand you and why you've been pushing back on so many things lately.
I don't know your parents so, this could go either way, but it doesn't sound like you have much choice at this point.
How old are you? What did your mom say when you came out the first time? Like specifically?
