This is the question that has plagued women for millenia. The short answer is find common ground and do not work so hard to be friends with everyone.
I have many women friends and we do not discuss make up or fashion, we both know what subjects we have in common, so we discuss those but before we found those out, we just did small talk, discussed what we did on our spare time.
However, I have found I have more in common with nerds than I do with regular guys since I read and do not like sports. So try being friends with nerds and they may be less likely to reject you, since they tend to be a tad more open minded. Join a chess club or something les stereotypical of guys

The problem is I don't really have any woman in my life, I don't really have friends in general. I got neighbors but thats about it, everybody knows you don't get real with your neighbors cause they don't care about you, cause if they knew the truth, they'd crussify you.
I'd be glad to talk about girls stuff with you, but I know its not the same thing as actually having a friend in real life.
