DS used to have a chat engine years ago, it was basically an instant messenger, but they discontinued it a very long time ago due to some issues with people from within the different communities. I don't really disagree that we should have something like that, and it really hurt the over all community as a whole when DS did so, unfortunately the only way something like that could happen is if someone wanted to set something up on a 3rd party system and people wanted to take the risk and trust that it isn't a scam (which those happen a lot). DS as a whole and its parent company really don't have much interest in investing in one of the many options that could be used, so one in the site is not likely.

I am also a Liam, but I would guessmany years older. I hope you enjoy your transition. It must be really complicated as a young person. The folks on this site give the best they can from personal experience. But you still have to be patient, think through things on your own and with family and counselor input and find your own answers. It gets better as you go. Glad you are finding some supports with this group. I dont visit here often but am always impressed by brave caring people of all ages.
