you are 100% correct, it is hard, especially at your age. Highschool is bad enough without all the additions that you have, but one thing I can tell you... In another couple years when you are done with school, things will be better. College and such, people don't really care what you do. At that point people are to concerned with their grades or their bills to really worry to much about outside things like who is trans or gay and who isn't. So just keep that in mind, a few years and a HUGE stress will go away. Being scared of the path before you isn't bad either. It's a big deal, and probably a more life changing decision than most will ever have to make and that means its pretty epic. The nice thing is, you have as long as you need and you can go to whatever point you are comfortable with. I am on 8 years of working through transition because I wasn't ready to take a step, so waited till I was and went, then repeated.

Couple things aside from above is that you thinking you will never become who you feel you should be.... you are right. The reason you are right is that you are thinking that way. I have met women taller than you, likely far more musclular, and likely far more masculine looking and no one questions they are women. Both men and women come in all shapes and sizes, and there is no real definitive that x is woman and z is man. its all a random calculation of genetics and guess what... we all have the same basic genetics. So height yeah there are tall and short men and women, there are blue eyed men and women.... you take any one physical trait and I am sure you can find it on both genders with the exception of secondary and primary sex characteristics. I wouldn't consider myself overly feminine, but I am NEVER called sir. So apparently I am passing with no makeup on or anything. You can to. There are some things that wont be what you hoped for, I will never be a 22 year old hottie.... I'm way older than 22 so that is completely NOT gonna happen. But I can be the best me I can be right now. So can you. you can do this, just take your time and deal with it as you can. You will make it just fine, there's no race, you are not competing against someone to get to the end, its just you.

I agree with what WyndWytch said. And no matter what, you are not alone. There are a lot of us going through similar experiences and we are willing to listen and help in whatever way we can. If you don't have a trusted friend to talk to, you should look into finding an LGBTQ youth support group. Yeah, I kinda feel ditched by all my friends which doesnt help, i dont have a single irl friend anymore i can call a true friend, as they have all hurt me recently. A friend called sam, who i spoke to daily, played games with for hours straight, made games with, done all sorts of projects with, has recently, all of a sudden, with out real reason, just started to ignore me. Its so strange. Its not like he just found out im trans, he knew that back in February, so what the hell is it. I found a youth support group, but i never wanna post on their, i feel too needy, and generally what can any of them do. I mean i cant really describe how i feel atm, but its the worst thing, and i want it to stop, but what can any of them do to stop it. I know they are tall girls, but they are still anomolous, and you still stick out like a swore thumb, making anything which may label you as trans, stand out more.

I think I can honestly say that I know how you feel. I keep thinking that--if I was going to "transition"--I should have done it earlier in life. Like you, I can't help thinking that if I was to transition now, I would be the tallest woman with the broadest shoulders and biggest hands and feet in any room I'm in. I would be ugly. I've tried to convince myself otherwise--even going so far as to have my makeup and nails professionally done and trying to learn to walk and emote like a woman. None of it helps. I could be wearing a dress and heels and I would still be called, "Sir." But knowing that you're not the only one who feels this way has to be some kind of relief for you. There are many of us out here and we all have confusion, difficulty fitting it, a desire to be/act like someone else and a general feeling of low self-worth as a result of it. Yes, it would have been much easier if we were all born female. But that makes our struggle that much more important. We weren't born with what we wanted. We had to work for it. Good luck to you.

passing is going to be more about your comfort and confidence, it really, and i am being dead honest here, don't matter how tall you are. Right now, the nature of high school is going to be a challenge, but once you are done with it Its not going matter. Getting through high school will suck, and its likely that the friends are doing that simply because of the BS that goes on in high school with the whole social status stuff that in the end means very little. What will matter is how well you do in school and all so you can succeed in life. dont worry about high school society, its a fake world, far more fake than any persona anyone can have. You will be able to do it, you just have to have the confidence in yourself
