So i think i understand your situation: your boyfriend is transitioning and your parents are anti-lgbt, correct? Of not the stop here off so continue on
It seams that the problem you have is that your parents aren't smelting your choice, because it is a sin, i believe the Bible relates sleeping with the same "gender" (i know she is going to he) to sleeping with an animal however there are the seven DEADLY sins like gluttony and greed, envy,.. And so on that's all i have top say on this topic
PS: if it seams like a little bit of a rant that's because my family is huge on fallow the Bible, yet they host pot luck which greedily feeds off of the gluttony of the church goers,
Anyways i hope things work out between you two
There are so many other things I could be doing in the world that are far worse! I'm a good person it's not like I'm a felon or get into trouble! I'm finally choosing to be with someone who makes me happy and I'm finally being myself. I could only hope that my children one day can say the same.
Cyndysub: I really wish people would stop using religion to try to justify things! It's very frustrating!!
My experience with religion is, if we aint straight, then they want us all dead. And its extremely rare to come across religious folks who really are progressive and won't shove religion down your throat, and how your going to hell, etc.
You want my advice? Stay away from organized religon. If you want to believe in a higher power, thats ok, but do it on your own, away from people who wish to harm you, and make you feel like the anti christ, when its actually them, who are the anti christ.
I know I came on a little strong, but I am just telling it like it is. Nothing good ever came from me going to church, I suffered, both mentally and physically.
