@ mmztcass.....I have never had the chiropractor use the Graston Technique...can you explain what it is...briefly. I don't want you to feel obligated to give full details...just a summary, please.
Are you still having the sensations?
The symptoms you describe are broken down into threee categories,
(1) Ascending Problems
(2) Descending Problems
(3) Combination Acending/Descending
Descending problems start from pathology in the head and
neck, usually a "Bad Bite". The bite throws off the lower jaw, this
causes imbalance in the neck, which causes imbalance in the
shoulders which causes imbalance in the spine, hips knees and
feet.
Ascending problems start in the feet and work their way up to the
head and neck.
So you coud have primary TMJ, with a secondary leg/foot problem
which would be descending, or you could have a primary leg/foot
problem with a secondary TMJ problem, which would be
ascending pathology.
It is hard to know which you have because you did not explain
what TMJ type problems you are experiencing.
But the answer to your question could tingling legs and feet come
from TMJ, is yes.
You should look to find a TMJ doctor who has a good relationship
with a physical therapist or chiropractor. They can work together
to help you with your symptoms.
Good Luck,
Dr . T
