So hang in there. It will get better again.

Last night this new Chiro I went to wanted to expose me to low level laser light that he says might help my T! He even showed me the manual that said if I had a high pitch sound, to place the laser light on my left brain lobe.
I looked at him like I thought he lost his mind and told him not to even think about it. I think he wanted to be able to charge my
insurance company for laser treatments that have no scientific
backing.
So bottom line, although we tend to believe this T has a mind of it's own, who knows if unseen environmental as well as internal stimuli is affecting our perception of the volume.
Sorry your T is up lately. I'm sure better days are coming soon for you.
God bless,
Kasandra

PS: A recent clinical study has shown caffeine doesn't affect T, so go ahead and drink your coffee or tea. : )
(Heidi, a number of people on here have found a sugar and glutamate connection to their T, so maybe see if that's a factor for you on your bad days?)
I am working on my double tinnitus sounds after 2 years and you are doing well to work with the diet. That should help, but did you know an underactive thyroid can be a factor. Some of us have hearing loss or know more certain what is causing the noise. My t is due largley to sinus inflammation from allergies etc. And believe I have hypothyroid but the tests are always in normal range. Need to do the basal temperature
so I can have something to show the mds. Ay, it is good to rule out anything organic too. like mri etc. I read that pynogenol is successful in decreasing after about 4 weeks. 150 mgs per day. I feel for you and hang in there with getting your t to dimisish so you can have more peace.
Chara55, I have had all the medical test that can be run to determine if there is an underlying cause of my tinnitus (everything from blood work to an MRI) I am perfectly healthy. What is basl temperature?
