I came across this vitamin supplement called Hearing Health by Premier Miconutrients by searching the web. It is endorsed by the Ear foundation. There are some testimonials by audiologists who have used it on their website. It looks like a high potency antioxidant multivitamin. The company says that they have done studies on the Military and it helps 70% of users. If anyone has a chance to check out their site can you tell me what you think. I was thinking of trying it, but I already take many vitamins. If you do a web seach for Premier Micronutrients or Hearing Health it should come up. I don't know if it is another rip off or not, but I am intrigued that there were studies done on it and it is endorsed by the Ear Foundation.

I still hold on the belief that supplements may make a difference. However, I was not impressed with the companies web site that you mentioned. They spent a great deal talking about what is NOT in their formulas and was vague about what is actually in their preparations. In order to know if something may work or is worth a try one needs to see some clear information that give someone a logical argument for why their product may hold promise.

I am trying another product that to me, has everything in it that logically could impact T, yet, it hasn't done anything for me.

I looked at this web site and the ingredients on the label for "Hearing Health" and compare them to my multi-vitamin from Nature Made. Everything was basically the same except Hearing Health had much more % of the FDA daily requirements of everything.
The other difference was the 'proprietary blend' of other ingredients,,the main one that I recognized was Coenzyme Q-10. I have read that this is good for tinnitus. But, Q-10 is pricey. So, I suppose this is why this Hearing Health product is so pricey as well.
I am currently taking my multivitamin,,plus a sublingual B-12,,and two other products that I have found helpful:
1) Ashwagandha
2)Vinpocetine
In addition, I take .5mg of generic xanax. All of this doesn't cost as much as one bottle of Hearing Health.

Thank you Greg for sharing your vitamin regimen. The Hearing Health does look like a good antioxidant supplement, but I am already taking some of these antioxidants. I don't see anything that much different in this supplement. I have thought about trying Vinpocitine myself. How much are you taking? has it diminished the Tinnitus?

Unfortunately I had to rescedule my appointment with Dr. Levine. I am now seeing him in November, although I am down for a cancellation sooner. I will definitely post about my appointment with him after I go. My friend saw him and she said he was very nice and knowledgable. I also have an appointment with the T&H Clinic in Hamden, CT. coming up, but may postpone this until after I see DR. Levine. I have T&H and really don't know if TRT would help me that much. It seems like some people with Hyperacusis can't stand the sound generators and I would hate to spend all that money for nothing.
