I FIGURED OUT A WAY TO FINALLY CALM MY T DOWN, WHERN IT STARTS IN ON A THREE DAY SCREAMING RUN.

Two days quiet, then it came at me yesterday. Ran my sound therapy from morning till night.

Woke up this morning, my T was quiet again.

That never happened before. Usually it screams for three days straight..

I now need to duplicate this again, when my T starts up, to see if I actually found something that can quiet my T down.

What sound therapy do you use? I run my 24/7 and it doesn't lower mine:(

Pure white noise therapy, which I built at audio notch, a Tinnitus
site ..

Sue, I only run the program on the day my tinnitus starts in.

What I found, running my sound therapy everyday, seems to agitate my T.

What do you mean when your tinnitus starts in? Your tinnitus isn't 24/7? I'm glad you found something that helps either way.

Definately Suera, i dont wish anyone to experience this nightmare 24/7, would be great if we wouldnt experience it at all!

Yes Sue, it is 24/7.

When my T starts in, I am talking number 8.

Other than that is usually runs at 4 to 5

I did it again yesterday.

It was running at 8, ran my TRT all day yesterday, this morning it is back to 4 to 5

That' great DGN! Mine is pretty consistently an 8. If I'm lucky I get a few low days, 2 or 3 a month. I run my white noise 24/7 so clearly running it doesn't lower mine at all but so glad it has worked for you two times in a row, that's wonderful.

Sue, It looks like I will be trying TMS for a run in Nov.

I have waited a long time for this moment.

Keep us posted. I was going to be on a trial for TMS. After jumping thru all the hoops the last question was "do you get migraines?" The answer is yes, which disqualified me:( Good luck:)

I wanna ask you guys something... i just read that in tinnitus cases wearing earplugs is totally unrecommended... but in this case how can we stay away from noise? I always wear earplugs on the street and lately when i m doing some housework because whenever something drops on the floor or breaks my ears start screaming like hell... So is it ok wearing earplugs?? Or i might get in troubles later...

I think it's okay to wear earplugs Michaela, you are protecting your ears.
