subjected myself to clanging pot, we're having student riots here in montreal.. YES... loud noises make tinnitus worse.. it's been 2 days and it's still not back to baseline.. i can only pray i didn't f myself up too badly.

Try NAC supplement, but you have to take it immediately after noise damage and keep taking it until your T goes down.

Sue, they are rioting mostly because in Montreal riotting is a natural instinct.. we have a riot at least once a year..sometimes two or three.. it's a really political place being the only french/socialist territory in north america.
This time the students who pay about 3-4 thousand per year for school, are protesting a raise to 7-8k over the next 5 years!!! :)
Imagine, we pay 1/10th of what the US has to pay for education yet we're still upset hahahahah.. that's why i love this place, it's really just an excuse to party whenever the snow melts.
So tinnitus is like a guitar string.. once plucked it can resonate for days? This never happend to me before i was always so careful since i got T.... never again!! I really didn't think that level was possible.. i thought i had it licked, dammit, but at least if this is my T and it will only go up and down but not 'get worse' i'll be ok... the noise is not the problem, it's the whining feeling in my head/neck that is the real depresser.. do any of you have the entire-head vibrating all the time!?!?! I would think the body would compensate eventually in every case since it's so intense.
By the way.. from the 1000s of protestors banging pots into their own ears.. how many you think got T that night?? I bet at least once sucker. I just hope it's not the kids who the parents had no right to be bringing there anyhow.. parents should really be warned about their kids ears... which is funny because i always thought society bent backwards too much for the children (don't have any) but damned when i think about T and the ears i become a dictator.
