Phase II in the process is braces to premanently shift my teeth to the "correct" position.
I am going to go back to my regular dentist and see what he says about it all. He has never said I have bad teeth and I have never had to have braces.
This neuromuscular dentist I went to seems very competent but did not really ask me much about my tinnitus and did not say expicitly I have TMJ. Just a missaligned bite and chipped teeth etc.
If it was @$1000 or so I'd do it but the red flags are up for me too for $4000.
Haven't seen anyone here mention bonnie pruden, she works with fibro and chronic myofascial people....her book will show you how to off set the trigger points. I had a bonnie pruden massage and it helped more in 30 minutes that anything else ever did. Also showed me how to work my mouth muscles into relaxation. Worth googling for sure.
