First of all, what is a TIPA?

The TIPA Tinnitus Device is a digital audio player used to treat tinnitus. The device plays the Tipa sound signal which has been digitally engineered to produce residual inhibition of tinnitus. The patient listens to the sound signal once a day for 12 minutes using fully enclosed audio headphones.

I'm going to try it if I can figure out how to use it. I have a macbook, my son has an itunes library, can I download the app and listen from there? I've spent more than $50.00 bucks on various tinnitus treatments so this is just a drop in the bucket. I'll let you all know.

6 Purchase plays by tapping twice on the Buy more plays... bar on the orange info screen. (A$49.99 for 50 plays)
The TIPA App is designed to only run on iPod touch as well as iPhones 3G, 3GS and 4 using operating system 4.3.5 Users are advised to upgrade to these systems.
Plays purchased from the App Store cannot be downloaded to desktop computers.

They are also asking you to use the Sennheiser HD 280 headphones. They sell them at allot of places.

All TIPA is, is 50 12 minute recordings that you play once a day, for 50 days. It is sometype of musical sounds or tones, that is suppose to get rid of your tinnitus for long extended periods, everytime you play 12 minutes of the recording

I dont want to put a downer on things but i doubt very much if this will really do what it claims. We all know there are millions and millions of people with T and experts working all over the world to find a cure. If this WAS the real deal it would be big news in all the medical magazines and websites by now. Do you really think that these guys have succeeded where everyone else has failed?

I hope im wrong but the chances are this is just another batch of snake oil ready to be served up for all the iphone users of the world.

Well I don't have an ipod touch or iphone so I guess I can't try it. I have an ipod 4th generation nano and a shuffle.
