I wish every one the best,

A friend of mine has had great success with the Neuromonics, I hope you do too.

Hearing aids can be configured to handle many different hearing losses, and give you some TRT or masking.
They also have to be set with the right pitch tone and amplification
Er umm, don't you think the aids would have been a more rational first step than a damn experimental BRAIN implant???... Forgive my incredulity... biob
And then, the hearing aids, finished the process for him
That's a good question

"Maybe its just me but WHY did this Samson Parsons character get an experimental device mimplanted in his damn BRAIN, when simple basic hearing aids CURED his T????...

Dear bebee,
Why did I do it? Because I wanted to feel happy again, and because I wanted to experience silence. And I was willing to do anything to have feelings again besides anger and sadness and frustration.
If you look at the order of events, sure, it seems ridiculous now. Its a Monday Morning Quarterback that has all the answers. I had 10 or 12 surgeries/procedures and all the drugs known. None of it worked, but I was not going to stop trying.
Right now, my brain no longer drains blood through two jugulars like everyone else because I let them tie-off and plug-up my right internal jugular vein. (I had a pulsatile component to my tinnitus, and they focused on that for years.) I dont regret any of it. Friends have asked, Why dont you sue? And I ask, What the hell for? Trying to help me?
I dont regret any risks, medications, or gigantic scars. Nor do I regret missing a green light, because it may have prevented me from a horrible car wreck. Who knows. The sequence of events in my 15+ years of brutal, grotesque tinnitus needed to happen just the way they did.
It was very, very loud.
