I have been worried about fireworks since, though I have not avoided them entirely. I probably should have and since my tinnitus got worse for different reasons a few months back I've decided to avoid them altogether from now on.
You're doing the right things. You may also want to try to avoid aspirin, caffeine, and reduce sodium intake.
Over time many become less bothered by the tinnitus as the brain/ear habitutates to the tinnitus sound. It's tough to go through that process.
you just have to read my profile to see that I started off with a small amount of noise in 2007 & looking back now I wonder what I was worried about . I measure my discomfort by my sleeping pattern are you sleeping ok ? I think you will get through this & live to tell the tale
