OK so I just noticed my caller id says 1002 called me, whats up with that?(comcast sucks)..
I also feel like moisture is in my ear many times, I am not sure what that is about.
A big hug to you,
Kasandra
And ditto to acceptance vs hating it. Afterall, it's in our own head's...
Went to surgeon he dismissed me and was very rude and said he was not responable for my tinnitus (at that time did not know what tinnitus was) .saw about 25 drs have been on many anti depressants , maskers , support groups , loss lots of weight and sleep ... Was on adavan , Valium ,zanix .... And tried to get rid of myself :( even went for a mri hoping for a tumor but test was negative .so I was at the end of my rope ... Was a artist ,mom, wife, raised 3 great kids.
So 2 yrs ago tried medical accupucture ... Seems that I have lots of heavy metal that is toxic...had a lot of mercury filling in my teeth and was a graphic illustrator for 15yrs so had a florcesent light over my head.
Intergrative medicine has helped lower this awful noise in my head so i can cope w my life and I still go for treatments once a month... Yes I hate this noise too and the weather triggers it louder ...hope you find something that helps you cope so you can live your life... Don't give up on you.
i too went to see a acupuncurist .. but he only tol me more of what was wrong with my body ..it was relaxing ..but it didnt cure my tinnitus ..i still have mercury fillings but afraid to take the rest out ...your story sounds exactly like my own..no sleep for a year and every drug known to try to stay calm or sleep ...devistating ..i hope your life gets better and somehow we learn to block it out ..ive often wondered about soldiers coming back from war and having ringing in there ers from bombs exloding etc... how do they cope along with what they saw ???
