Besides fans, you can also buy noise makers that sit on the table by your bed and make white noise or the sound of rain or the ocean or something, that might help you sleep.
What a sweet grandma.
It's so odd you only get T at night. I wonder if something you eat (like dessert) triggers it? Do you notice T at all during the day ever? Do you notice it getting worse with sugary foods? Loaa had a good guess about ambient noise during the day perhaps drowning it out, or you are busy and distracted from it. IDK, it's really odd. I'm assuming it's not too loud if a fan drowns it out?
