Out of sheer desperation a few years ago, I tried the t-gone Tinnitus Relief Formula and the Stress Relief Formula combo even though both my gut and posts by others I read said dont do it. Not counting the testimonials on the t-gone website (never believe testimonials), I have read little positive news about their remedy. Both the tinnitus and stress tabs looked identical and both tasted like sugar. They do (or did) offer a 100% money back guarantee which from what I read from other posts is/was not honored. I was able to get my money back but I used a credit card and followed their money back guarantee rules to the letter. Im not saying itll work for you because it may not; Im just saying if you really have your heart set on giving it a try then do as I did to hedge your bet: use a credit card and follow the money back guarantee rules to the letter. I consider myself very fortunate to have received a refund you may not be so fortunate.
My advice: Dont waste your money. I waited on pins and needles thinking t-gone would fix my tinnitus. In return, all I received was more stress, anxiety and frustration. I was very disappointed and Id hate to see the same happen to you.
As far as keeping your stress level down, have you considered seeing a doctor or counselor?
Youre wearing a splint at night but waking up with an aching jaw. Do you have TMJ? That can cause tinnitus as well.
I wish you the best of luck,
Brian
Will take your advise & save my money.
Originally had counselling when I first got T several years ago. It was helpful & may have to do some more.
In New Zealand, my experience with Drs/Specialists are that they are not into prescribing anything for T. There attitude is go home & live with it. I have used Neuromonics when the T was much lower with some success.
I'm going to get an mp3 player tomorrow & download some white noise. Hopefully over a period of time that will also be helpful
The Drs/Specialists here normally dont prescribe anything for T either but they do prescribe something for anxiety you may want to try taking that route. I was able to get some Xanax once I told my doctor I had bad anxiety. The Xanax helped me get through a rough patch but its very addictive and I only took it for a short time. I still have some Ill take on occasion but its not very often. I hope the mp3 player with white noise works for you. I think going back to a counselor is a good idea.
I hope things work out for you. Take care
Doctors here, US, for the most part say "learn to live with it" but I found my GP to be the most helpful for prescribing something for the anxiety.
