Strange habit bad for me?

Hi all. Hope everyone is doing okay today, I know some are just "surviving"(i can relate). Hugs to all. It has recently been brought to my attention by family members that perhaps my strange habit of plugging my nose every(i mean EVERY)time I sneeze might have attributed to my T. But I know loud music and my past factory life(ug) contributed too. Anyway I was wondering if that type of cause might be operable or something. Did I blow out my ear drums? And no I dont know if someone taught me to do that or when I even started...... :( I am thinking I definitly screwed myself up by lack of care and thought.

Hmm, IDK if plugging your nose when you sneeze would kill the cilia in your ears (which is basically what causes T, they feel), but I know you should NOT plug your nose when you sneeze because you CAN burst your eardrums! My dad has done that at times, and I yell at him when he does it! I've had burst eardrums; trust me, you don't want that! (You would know if you blew out your eardrums because when you blow your nose, air whistles out your ears. And your eardrums hurt. And sometimes you might even have bleeding or drainage from your ears as signs of "blown" eardrums.) :(

Protocol today is to sneeze into your elbow pit (the crook of your elbow) so you don't get germs on your hands and don't spray others with germs or spray them into the air. Maybe you can get used to doing that instead?

Thanx for your response McMurdo. Yep I figure it would be real painful if I had blown my ear drums. I am so sorry that happened to you. . I am having a very difficult time trying to stop plugging my nose though. I just forget about it, then boom, I need to sneeze and up goes my hand.... I will just have to keep trying to remember, guess thats about all i can do.

Ooops..well thats probrably a good thing luv2sew lol..I had a super pissy feeling for a couple hours yesterday and changed my pic..I feel better today so I will change it again :) ( the little girl is asking her mom why men dont help with dishes and cleaning, the mom answers " cause men are f*ckers") :P

I'm doing real shitty Di.
I have a disability tribunal appeal hearing in the Spring.
My original application had the following conditions signed by my doc:
Severe Tinnitus
Severe Insomnia (due to the above)
Anxiety Disorder (exacerabated due to above)
High B/P (due to all the above)
Severe Depression (due to all the above)

Original app was denied, because I can still walk, talk, feed myself.
They have a numbering system where they grade each activity on 1-4 severity scale, then they add it up. I only scored 4 on the parts that affected by T - sleep. Concentration/memory - 2, etc.
So I'm not "disabled". Like if I can attend my doctors' office on my own and fill out a questionnaire- im Ok...right?
The tribunal will be held at a Best Western Motel in my city.
Are these people making a mockery? Why not meet at Hooters ?

If anybody has any tips, I'll be more than grateful.

Do you get panic attracts? This may fall under anxiety.
