Every so often, when I am sitting in a quiet room or place, I do lament the eternal ringing in my ears that voids whatever I could remember as silence. My friends do not know how lucky they really are to enjoy that.

In one ear - high decibel ring
In the other - a gentle roar

I tune them out during the day, but whenever I think about them, my constant companions always return.
