The awareness factor of advertising on TV, is huge.

The demand for a Tinnitus remedy will increase, when big companies start to realize that there is a market for Tinnitus.

I bet you, you will start seeing more advertising on tv, for tinnitus products.

I've seen that tv ad in Illinois. I hope that we see bigger companies start to realize that there is a problem with tinnitus and actually work towards research and not just realize there is a market for more things that dont work. The reason I say that is there is always going to be those that jump on the band wagon and tout there products to cure tinnitus when in fact they do nothing but make them money.

Here in new York I've seen several commercials for LIPO-FLAVINOID, I did try it & it worked somewhat for a few weeks - they said try for 2 months - I did but the "T" resisted it.
The other night eyewitness news had a blurb f/ 30 seconds on cognitive therapy to help w/ T - so we are starting to get some notice.

I hate to say this. But money is the key factor, to find a remedy.

But who cares, if it brings in big dollar comapnies, and they see a big market to make money in Tinnitus, hopefully the money into research will increase.

Again, awareness factor is huge. Out of sight, out of mind.

Two years ago when I first got tinnitus that commercial was on a lot here in Ohio. I haven't seen it in awhile. DGN I like your point about bigger companies seeing there might be a real market out there to do some research on tinnitus. The down side of these commercials was all my "friends" thinking that tinnitus is no big deal as I can just take this Quietus and surely I'm "cured" and to tell them otherwise is just something nobody wants to hear.

these commercials are very frustrating. They're all running in California - Quietus, Lipinoflavinoid. I've had family and friends all call me when they see this stuff. A few have suggested ear candling - just what I need, no eardrum with my T! Worse, when I say they don't work I get the, "well how do you know they don't work?" My response - "I have 1300+ people, many of who have lived with it for a number of years, that say they don't work!!!" Then I send them the link to the sound on the ATA site that matches my T. I know they're just trying to help though.

Matteo, there's a place on ATA that you can find your T sound? I've got to get that into my ipod and then demonstrate next time someone rolls their eyes about tinnitus.

ATA Sounds of Tinnitus. Be careful, they're loud if you don't turn down the volume on your speakers. They are available for download as well. When I play mine to people, they say oh wow, that would drive me crazy too.
