I work as a call assistant at a customer care center. Like every other customer care agent, my role is to attend the calls of the customers and to deal with their complaints. We need to work according to the shift. It may be day or night.
But lately, I have been having problems with hearing the voice of my customers. I thought it was due to the headphones I was using. So, I called up the admin team and changed the headphones. That’s when my friend suggested me to get hearing loss screening to know if I was having any problems with my hearing ability. I am not having a good feeling about this. I have booked an appointment with the audiologist, which is coming Friday. I am really nervous to visit them. Does anyone has got any issues like this before? How did your audiology consultation go? Do you guys have any suggestions or instructions for me to follow before meeting the doctor?
