BOB, what other meds are you taking with the pramipexole (are they related to your T).

If it's personal, I understand.

Be aware that a few people have taken this and it hasnt helped their tinnitus at all. I noticed a slight effect after a 3 days.

I also take Trileptal for my T and Lamictal.

I noticed a change after a week. I was up to1- .25mg pill x3 per day. I was somewhat surprised it was only that long. I guess were all use to something that might help taking months to kick in. I can say i'm 100% convinced the drug is working.

Had a rough day yesterday and I masked a little but I expect to have some loud days. But since I can up my dosage to 3-.25mg pillss x3 per day I have given myself some wiggle room.

For now i'm staying at the 1- .25mg x3 dosage. You know the dosage of this drug is a little confusing but the doctor said it's a pretty safe drug. That's good to hear. Good Luck to you.

They all seem to do same thing. Can't one drug by itself, do the trick.

Out of the three, which one do you like the best.

John, do you think going up to .25 six times a day, is going to make you sleep all day.

I have been sleeping so much, just taking .50 at night.

So far I have no side effects of the drug. One of these days I will give you a list of all the meds I take. High blood pressure and i'm diabetic. So the pills add up. I don't get tired taking Pramipexole. All I know is my tinnitus was once again very soft all day.

I've taken so many drugs it ridiculous. It's all in the name of science though. That's what I tell myself.

Here it is Saturday morning and again I woke up with zero tinnitus. And I mean zero tinnitus. Nothing.

The pramipexole makes me tired, even at a 1/2 tablet. I'm taking it when I wake up (generally about 4am) and then I go back to sleep until I have to get up (around 7am). I'm also going to take it around 4pm and then at bedtime 10pm.

It doesn't make me so tired that I just fall asleep. I hope after taking it a few more days I get used to it and can go to a full tablet 3 times a day as I haven't had any other reactions to it.

Day and half taking it and so far no change, ( wasn't expecting any either). But at the price ($7.00 for 90 tablets, a months supply) I figure I can give it several months. After all the makers of Arches Tinnitus Formula and Tinnitus DX both say to allow at least 90 days for results at a price of over a $100.00 for three month supply. I've tried both (recommended by two different ENT's) and had zero results with either.

Dang John that's great. It's working better for you than it ever has for me. I've always been in the %40 to %60 area.

Good luck, but I don't think you are going to have to wait more than a week, to start seeing some results

John, do you wear hearing aids ?

I myself do wear hearing aids, 46 years old with steeply sloping high frequency loss. Hearing is perfect up to 3khz, then drops off sharply. I'm in the process of trialing Phonaks, tried the Widex with the Zen previously. I have a pair of Resounds coming in thru Costco for a trial next week, hearing aids do very little to mask my tinnitus. Lane

I have Widex with Zen, it sucks. No benefit.

The white noise sounds terrible. Bad quality.

The hearing aids work very well though.

I had Phonak, there also very nice, but 15 years ago, they did not have TRT built into them

I don't wear hearing aid's. Had my hearing checked and have lost a little hearing but the ENT say's I don't need hearing aid's at this time.
