No, 50 mg, is not anywhere near close enough, I don't think. My guess is that these seizure meds work for us at about the level they work for people with seizures. For Mysoline, that is about 500mg and sometimes as high as 750mg. I take 450-500mg every night. I always wake up to T, sadly, but it fades to a volume 1 or 0 when I get up and move around. That might just be something that happens with me.
I will 100 mg
Not sure I can handle more
I should explain that when I said it took only a few days to work, I meant when I hit the 450-500mg level I was working up to. That's the point when I stopped hearing my T or only loud enough so that I had to listen for it. Sorry, didn't mean to be confusing.
A little bit of improvement. I will take 100 mg tonight.
If 100 mg does the trick, why should I go past that amount.
I can see that 450 mg would definetly work. You can tell, that this med
definetly helps lower you tinnitus. But the flip side is, that we might
have to on this stuff for at least two more years, when I feel
from the CLA studies, that they will have three projects
ready to roll out, to attack Tinnitus. And, I don' think my DOC, wants
to risk giving me that much mg.
