I suppose the clinical trials are for insurance purposes or maybe for a patent. I don't think there would be anything to prevent them from selling it right now.

Remember when you would suck on that sour tart and it would actually make you have that wierd kinda happy feeling. Or that cup of coffee in the morning that is just right! Could you imagine re-creating that stimulus electronically or via computer. This could very well be the next big step in mankinds evolution.
It looks promising, from the standpoint, that theres a lot of money and high profile backers getting behind the technology.
