I few months back I was lucky enough to hear Richard Pimentel speak during a diversity conference. I'd never heard of him but since then I've learned quite a bit about him. Richard has devoted his life to helping people with disabilities and is an expert on disability management, job recruitment, job retention, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Richard is also partially deaf and suffers from severe Tinnitus. A few years ago they made a movie about his life called Music Within and if you haven't seen it you might want to rent it. The movie isn't about Tinnitus but it does show some of the challenge that Richard faced while living with T. It also shows all the work he did to help people less fortunate than himself.

I actually watched the movie before my T developed and I remember thinking how awful it would be to have his condition. I'm thinking of watching it again now.
