I've had several MRIs in the past and always worn my Howard Leight T3 MRI safe head phones with foam earplugs and my T was stable afterwards, but this time it was a brain scan and my headphones didn't fit in the cage I had to wear around the head. The headphones they made me wear did nothing to drown out the MRI noise. On top of that I put new foam plugs which didn't work as well as my worn ones and now I have kettle high T again after more than 8 years of having it under control.
I am beyond devasted and I'm praying my brain can adjust to the new level. I worked so hard to get to where I was living almost T-free in my mind. Just feel like I'm back to where I started from. Feeling a little despondent right now.
