We are seeing the clear signal that our therapy is working. After decades of tinnitus research, we now have a trial showing positive forshort-term outcomes for tinnitus patients who have previously failed other treatments. We are very excited to be very close to finishing our current round of funding and focusing back on clinical trials using a fully implantable device that is ready for clinical trials and commercialization. We will no the results, when they finish the second round of clinical trials.

I would say by June, at the Beligium Tinnitus Conference, they will request to put the sugery in motion.

The European FDA, has to approve the surgery. My guess, by the fall/winter of this year, if everything falls in place, they will start doing implants in Europe.

Very good news, but I imagine it will be very costly to get--and def not covered by insurance. :(

They will start doing implants in Europe, and it will be approved by the FDA. That's good news, but will it be available in the U.S. and be approved, and will it be affordable for all or just those who can afford it?

I know it wont matter in the beginning but most elective procedures not covered by insurance actually go down in price over time. With patents that would be 5 to 10 years I suppose.

It's going to be a while, until the U.S approves it.

They want to start trials in the US, next year.

I think Bob is correct, by the time it is approved in the US, there is

good chance, that could bring down the pricing.

For me, if they a close to 100%, on their second set of trials, and

the T is close to being gone. I might go to Europe, and have it done

I imagine you'd also need to find a follow up care provider in the states unless you want to fly to Europe ever few months.
