If these numbers hold up, it means 30 people out of 100 will have the device surgically implanted at their own expense and it will do them no good at all... Many of those people will take second mortgages, or get loans, or go into serious debt to afford the $30,000+ fee...

"Ive gotten emails and seen the commentswe are very excited about the results from the study, weve closed our round of financing and have gotten very good news from the NIDCD. Please be patient as these announcements trickle outfrom now as we move from feasibility to full-scale commercial production, I will need to be extremely careful about discussing our tinnitus therapy. The FDA, correctly, will insist that I say nothing that resembles a marketing claimso long for now on our tinnitus product, but I can assure you will be happy to see the formal press releases and progress we have made at Microtransponderthis blog will continue albeit with focus on neurostimulation in general. Check out more formal updates on our new websitewww.vnsfortinnitus.com"
I can't tell you how much I have been looking forward to finally hearing some Good News, on the Tinnitus platform.
