Habituation needs a little bit of help.
Sound Therapy is the best way to help you ignore the sound during the day.
I think you are doing great to care for three boys on your own for long periods and hold down a job where you must be upbeat! There are many days when I don't even think I could fake being upbeat, my T is so bad. Like you said, life can be difficult but T just adds to the stress of it all!
Thank you for posting, because we can really relate to what you are saying. I will pray for your spike to end. Does drinking green tea help lower your T at all? Are you able to sleep OK during this spike? Not sleeping well just makes the next day even more stressful, I know. :(
Oh, how I understand the whine, the hiss, and I think your description of "brain buzz" is right on the money. That is exactly what I feel many times.
