I will get back to reading the rest of this in time, seems interesting. I think the more you can learn and the more you seek to do for yourself, the better. It's all good.

Seriously!!! I'm not buying one word of. Good luck with that.
From what I read, if your tinnitus is due to noise exposure, then there's nothing much to be done, other than to avoid further loud noises and perhaps headphones (sleeping with ear plugs or avoid all noise altogether would be a bad idea).
Then there are other cases. For instance an ear infection. Tinnitus could abate or even disappear within months or a year after the treatment (which doesn't involve Chinese herbs).
