I just don't understand.
You would think they would have the best and brightest there. My heart aches at stories like you related... For you, me and everyone else with T.. I pray for relief for you..
Hearing clinic at U of Buffalo is suppossed to be pretty good. I will keep this forum up to date on any progress I make.. Right now, i have no joy of life, and would never have believed I could be in this much depression and anxiety every day all day..
God help us all indeed.
I am a long time Christian man, and I will never cease praying for every tinnitus sufferer no matter where they are.
I wish you all the best ... bob

I'm also a long-time T sufferer...24 years now. I'm well habituated, but recently had a flare that really increased the pitch and volume. I also experienced a new sense of "fullness" or pressure in my ears, along with some lightheadedness and the sensation of the room spinning a bit immediately after lying down in bed. One morning I woke up and had trouble opening my mouth normally and my jaw was really sore on the right side. AHA!
Well, long-story-short... the jaw inflammation made me realize that I'd been clenching my teeth in my sleep. I've had a few episodes of this over the years, but this was the first time it crept up on me like this, and the first time it ever affected my T. After a few nights of wearing a bite guard, all the symptoms of dizziness, ear fullness, and increased T pitch are resolving. YaHoo
So, are you clenching or grinding your teeth?
