Today I was getting a massage and the MT said to me that she has several clients with MD that have tinnitus and they use Frankincense oil. Several drop behind the ear and down the jaw line. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? I am posting this here and on the Meniere's Disease group. Thank you in advance.

I know one person who does that with Helichrysum oil and they say it helps a little. I can't stand the smell so I haven't really tried it.

I and two others on here have used helichrysum oil (has to be therapeutic grade, so rather expensive) with some success. I also take seizure meds for T, but I DO find that I have more good (low T) days when I ingest a little oil and rub some on the back of my neck on either side of my spine where the nerves come out. I do it before bed.

I could MAYBE see putting it behind your ear but the jawline doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't mind the smell and my dog loves it, lol. It just smells like moldy hay to me.
