Reading the other post i just realized I got my E from E !!!
I could have told you it was from raves, but it just struck me we called MDMA, Exctasy simply 'E'... and since it's the 'E' that kept me dancing in front of the speakers for oooohhh 8 hours in a row.. and since i spent a heck of a lot of nights walking around these insane clubs at 4 and 5a.m. asking for 'E'...well....
I got what I deserved!!!!!
now I got 'e' all the time!! AAARRRGGHG!!!!
but hey, i preffer 'eeee' to all the other vowels, my opinion. Maybe soft a' wouldn't be terrible either but can you imagine hard 'u'?? that would suck.

lighten up guys, my brother just 44 years old - a great guy who i loved dearly - just died 5 days ago from a sudden unexpected heart attack... now i've got no siblings :( we have a heck of a lot more than my brother, he'd trade with the worst of our cases in a second. I miss him a lot more than silence. I wish i was paying more attention to his complaints of pains than my stupid tinnitus and hearing loss because i was consumed with this i didn't think to google his symptoms as i normally would, maybe i'd have been able to push him to a hospital.
So my friends please don't let the Eeeeeeeee take all the joy and love out of your hearts, dwell on the good things and thank god you are in an era where you can share info so fast. I would hate to have tinnitus in 1980 when there was no internet to read info, speak to others, know it's personality and that i'm not alone.. not even close to being alone. Right?? ;)

You are absolutely right about the internet and I have been thankful for the capability to reach out and "talk" to others who are in the same boat as I am, it does help I think just knowing you are not alone.

Anyway we need an anthem group so I pick Briuce Springstein and the "E" street band. I personally go around singing Born in the U.S.E,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,......
I can imagine how difficult it is that you lost your brother only recently and I am sorry that he isn't here with you.
I thank you for the heartfelt reminder for us to focus on good things. I do try to be optimistic despite the challenges I have, I have more than just tinnitus. I am thankful for a lot of things and I try hard to focus on those.
I am grateful for the connections I have made with people on the internet and for DS. Especially DS. Knowing that I am not alone with some of the problems that I have helps and I am gratetful for the support that I receive and I enjoy being a support to others too.
I checked out a few other forums where i 'fit' but you know i think this is the best group here consistently... confirming what i thought by reading the list of famous people who suffer with tinnitus... it tends to strike the best kind of minds. I swear it's the 'wake up call' telling us not to waste our brain power.
