I CAN NOT BELIEVE I BEEN TO 2 ENT AND MY MD AND THEY HAVE NO HELP FOR THE FULLNESS THAT COMES WITH TINNITUS,I FEEL LOST OF WHAT TO DO NEXT I WAKE UP EVERY DAY WITH IT ,MY XANX HELPS ,BUT IS THERE JUST NO HELP FOR THIS I FEEL MY EAR IS GOING TO EXPLODE,IT THEN GIVE ME A HEADACHE. There was just a post about ear fullness...maybe you can do a search and find it. I'm not sure if there were any good tips but I remember seeing the topic.

Yours is probably worse than mine if it is a constant problem. When it happens to me I Open and close my mouth very slowly to try to relieve the pressure, chew some gum, basically act like I'm on an airplane. Then take some decongestants, a warm shower, stand on your head.

It sounds like a joke but all of this has worked for me. But like I say,It only happens occasionally now, although it happened every day my first few weeks.

Hi Squarely, I posted recently about the same problem. I went to MD and got a nasel spray (nasonex) and a steroid BUT I started feeling light headed and dizzy, so I stopped the spray and pills. Dizziness went away and so did fulness in ears. I only take musinex now and seems to help. The fulness seams to happen to me after a head cold or sinus problem. I have become very fragile with my siniuses. It is what it is and I wont let it beat me down. I see people worse off than me . Good Luck and give it time. sorry for the spelling. Howie

Those steroid sprays save my life... reduce my T even... i use Drixoral, prefer it over nasonex

I have a problem with ear fullness too. I've had sensorineural hearing loss with tinnitus and ear fullness. The frustrating thing is that it fluctuates, yesterday it was hardly there and today it's really annoying. My ENT thinks maybe I have atypical meniere's so I'm trying a low salt diet and see if that helps. I don't know if a steroid spray would help since my problem is not in my middle ear but my cochlea but it is frustrating.
