Don't want to miss a thing

I'm getting a grip on this thing, but whenever I am feeling sorry for myself and wondering how my life will ever be the same or worth while. I just head over to you tube and watch Steven Tyler sing 'I don't want to miss a thing'. Makes me realize that I have a lot I don't want to miss. So I will fight.

Do you want to know the 1 thing I miss? I miss taking that afternoon nap when I feel like it. IF i'm having a pretty low volume tinnitus day and I make the mistake of nodding off for as little as 30 seconds my tinnitus comes roaring back and it's loud as ever. Have always said that's where you might find some answers to better understand tinnitus and a possible cure. Sleep triggers tinnitus. Why? Have yet to hear a good explanation for that.

Del, that would be a tough one. Honestly tough, all the simple little things are more difficult to enjoy. But at the same time it doesn't do any good to dwell on it. Sounds like accepting and ignoring is the only solution. Tough one.

Lori, great song. I had never heard that. I like country music, but I am more of a talk radio listener. Especially hit home in that I have a 21 year old daughter. I am also a hunter. I missed every homecoming and prom because I was hunting. Wish I could get that back. I'm not going to miss the wedding dance.

You know there are many things I miss that I lost when I got t.

I miss watching TV without my ears screeming so much I want to just scream. I miss listening to the quiet spring days, without the background noise. I miss having my ears free of ear plugs. I miss the nights I could just listen to the frogs. And I do miss the naps.

I guess, I am glad I can see.
