I've had a high-pitched whistle T in both ears for years. Two months ago, I suffered a sudden hearing loss in my left ear. The sounds I do hear in that ear are distorted. Along with the hearing loss came a new kind of T in that ear -- a whooshing roar. Certain noises make that roar really, really loud and almost unbearable. It feels like there's a buzz saw in my head! It's horrible! When it is at its worst, the vision in my left eye gets blurry. I also feel a lot of pressure inside my head, and I get a moderate headache. Twice this week, I got dizzy for a few seconds when I had the buzz saw effect. It seems to be getting worse. Have any of you had any of these kinds of symptoms? If so, did you get any answers from a doctor? I see the ENT again on Monday, but she hasn't been very helpful. I don't know what to think.

I hope you have good health insurance - because you are going to have to investigate - the allergist - an MRI - a Neurologist and then an ENT - to address dizziness and fullness in the ear -
But your symptoms are common and have been resported on this board before and you will have to go to bat for yourself to get things under control.
If you have Meneire's - look it up on google - the right ENT will medicate your symptoms and get it under control -
Our bodies are so complex - God help you- God knows what you need to do - I have to pray to him all the time - step by step to tinnitus retraining therapy and the right hearing aids to hear people.
Long journey - much pain - depression - not taken seriously - dismissed by two out three docs - suffering. Unavoidable - wish I could explain it all away for you and make it better.
