Last Friday, Dr. Oz had an episode about the CLEAN diet. The doctor who developed this diet is convinced that most of our ailments are caused by toxins that develop in our bodies because of the foods we eat. He claims that not only can his diet help you lose weight, but it can also fix a bunch of other ailments.
It got me wondering about whether it would be effective in reducing T. It makes sense, since we know that many foods cause a spike in T.
I bought the Kindle version of the book ("Clean"). It's not a crazy diet at all. It prohibits beef and pork, gluten, peanuts, and a few other things. It pushes leafy green vegetables, free-range chicken, berries -- a total of 10 foods that he considers "detox" foods.
I'm starting another diet that Dr. Oz recommended, the DASH diet, tomorrow. It's a very highly-rated diet designed to lower blood pressure and blood sugars. It's not exactly the same as the CLEAN diet, but they are similar. I think I can eat enough of the Clean foods in my DASH diet to make a difference.
I'm going to DASH completely and CLEAN as much as possible. :)

Also, I don't know where you live and if you have any of the Aldi grocery stores, if you do they have a lot of gluten free stuff that's much less expensive than health food stores.
